Paramount Properties is a Cape Town developer. Its first project is The Paramount Estate in Constantia: three four-bedroom houses on a private lane at 9 Sohland Avenue, each with its own north-facing garden and heated pool.
The houses were designed in-house from one detailed model of the site. The drawings, the areas, the specification and the cost plan were finished before the estate was offered, and the privacy of each pool and the sun on each garden were checked on the same model.
How we work
The drawings come first
Nineteen sheets at 1:100, the areas, the specification and the cost plan are finished before a house is offered. The design on this site is the one going to the City for approval.
Privacy and sun, measured
Every upstairs window on the estate was checked against every pool on the 3D model, and the sun on each pool was traced through the year. The results are in the site development plan report.
Plain terms
Prices include VAT. No transfer duty is payable on a new house bought from the developer. What is included is written down, and the heated pool is part of it.
The mark
The oak wreath on our seal comes from the site itself: mature oak belts line the boundaries of 9 Sohland Avenue and stay as part of the design. The P stands for Paramount. The wordmark is set in Marcellus.
